Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-10-10
By using the Optix Medical Sync website or hospital app ("the service") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
What the service is
Optix Medical Sync is hospital management software. A hospital or clinic can create a workspace, add its staff, and manage appointments, patients, billing, stock and reports. Plans, limits and prices are shown on the home page. Every plan starts with a free trial; when a trial ends the workspace becomes read-only until a plan is chosen, and nothing is deleted.
Your account
The person who creates a workspace becomes its Super Admin and is responsible for it: for adding and removing staff, for choosing their roles, and for keeping passwords private. Do not share logins, and tell your administrator if you think someone else has used yours. You are responsible for activity under your account. Signing in or signing up with Google only verifies your Gmail address and name; the account and its data stay in the workspace.
Your data
The hospital owns the records it enters and is responsible for having the right to store them, for keeping them accurate, and for complying with the health-data and privacy laws that apply to it. We store them in the hospital's own separate workspace and do not use them for advertising. See the Privacy Policy.
Not medical advice
The software helps staff organise their work. It does not diagnose, treat or replace professional judgement, and clinical decisions remain with qualified staff. Check the figures and records before relying on them.
Acceptable use
- Do not try to break into, overload or interfere with the service or another workspace.
- Do not upload unlawful or harmful material.
- Do not copy the website's content or software for resale.
Third-party links and advertising
The public website links to other websites and may display third-party advertisements. We do not control those websites or advertisers and are not responsible for their content. Ads are never shown inside the signed-in app.
Availability and backups
We try to keep the service available and take automatic daily backups, but do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or remove features. Keep your own copy of data you cannot afford to lose; reports can be exported to CSV.
Suspension
A workspace may be suspended if these terms are broken or if a plan is not kept up, and the platform owner can restore it.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided "as is", and Optix is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use.
